Hosting & Event Set-up
To set up an event, a potential host will provide event details through the “Host an Event” link
on the Crafts and Company website or via email to Crafts and Company. The potential host will
confirm with Crafts and Company the details for the event via email communication. Event date
and time are not reserved until the Host receives an event confirmation email confirming the
date, time and location from Crafts and Company.
Minimum Event Requirements
The minimum number of guests for an event is 4. A minimum of 4 guests must be signed up for
and paying for (at least) 4 projects for an event to occur. Crafts and Company reserves the right
to cancel any event that is unable to meet the minimum requirements of 4 guests or 4 paid
projects.
Attendee Sign-up
When the host, with Crafts and Company, has finalized the details of the event they will send a
link, provided by Crafts and Company, so the invited guests may sign up for the event as well as
what project/design the guest will be making. All attendees, including the host, must sign up for
the event individually. While the wood project and stencil design with be selected at the time of
sign-up, stain and paint colors for the completed project will be selected at the time of the
event.
Crafts and Company’s responsibilities for the event
Crafts and Company will arrive at the Host’s location up to 60 minutes (dependent on number
of guests and therefore materials to set up) prior to the start of the event. Crafts and Company
will bring all of the wood projects and materials needed to paint/stain and stencil the projects
as selected by the guests during sign-up. In addition, Crafts and Company will provide folding
tables, table coverings, under-table coverings and aprons for crafters for the event. If additional
items are required this will need to be discussed during the event set-up and should arise while
discussing the desired location of the hosted event.
Requirements for Host Location
The Host agrees to provide an appropriate amount of space to set up folding tables for the
number of guests attending, as well as space for materials and fans for drying projects. The host
also agrees to provide space that can be properly ventilated with windows that can open to
provide air flow, or an outdoor location suitable for guests to paint/stain and stencil. If an
outdoor location is desired Crafts and Company will work with the Host to determine a plan in
case of inclement weather.
Project Changes
Crafts and Company will do their best to confirm all project details 7-14 days prior to a craft
night event to avoid incurring any unnecessary costs to re-create projects/stencils. Should a
guest need to change anything about their project after the confirmation, Crafts and Company
will do their best to accommodate the change when possible, but a fee may be assessed at the
discretion of Crafts and Company based upon the nature of the changes. Crafts and Company
will work with guests to confirm the changes and associated costs.
